*hack...cough...cough*

Day 4 of this miserable cold. My throat has never hurt that bad. It honestly felt like I was trying to swallow hot coal. It completely sucked. I'm almost better though. Just in the coughing stage now. This cold is better than what I've seen other people go through. I'm so very grateful that mine was not that bad. Diarrhea for 4 days is way worse than coughing for 2. *blah*

Hey! We are supposed to get some strong storms tonight! Whooo! I'm so excited that it's not going to be snow! I f!#$& hate snow.

February.

Here I am in the middle of another semester. I am so ready to be done with school. I am so close and it still seems just slightly out of reach. At least after this semester, I will have my certificate in contracting. Then one more semester (and a 70 page paper) I will have my bachelors. yeah. A 70 page paper. You would think I will be getting my masters after a project like that, but noooooo. :( Looks like I get to spend my summer slaving over the keyboard trying not to face plant the desk. Makes me want to cry just thinking about it.

I think I just got a job. :)

Leeloo is still a pain in the butt. She turned 2 in January. I guess the phrase "terrible 2's" is for dogs as well as kids. She is around 90 pounds now. But, she is actually closer to 100ish. I'm in denial. I still think about her first vet trip and they said, "she won't get any bigger than 40 pounds". Ha!

New Year

I've made it to 2011. I suppose that's a major accomplishment since most of my family didn't. :( Thank goodness Christmas is over. School has started back and it is my last full semester. Lord willing, I will graduate in the summer. Hallelujah! I have heard some horror stories about my teachers, so this semester and next won't be so easy.

October already?!

HoLy CoW! I guess it's a good thing. I'm ready for these classes to be over. Ugh...I'm so over school. I just want my freaking expensive piece of paper.

Homework blows.

Yep. It really does. Corporate Finance is for the birds. This class is ridiculous. Homework and a quiz due every Saturday and 3 exams on top of that. Oh! And a 5 page ethics paper. Errrr. Anyways...that is where I have been. I'm going to be so thrilled when I graduate. But then I will probably go back and get a different degree. And then probably get my Masters. Yeah, homework will never end for me.

It hurts to smile.

And that totally sucks for me because I smile constantly. I got my tad's put in yesterday. Damn, what I do for straight teeth. I had straight teeth before. I wore braces for 4 years. Ten years later, I get them again. So, yesterday I got two screws that were placed in the maxilla bone. They are right above my upper teeth, but in the back on both sides. Yuck. They are supposed to help fix my overbite. I'm starting to think my bite was just fine. Yep, it completely hurts to smile. I guess I'm on a liquid diet for another two weeks. At least school doesn't start for another week. That would just be another pain in my ass. All I really care about is getting these braces off before I graduate.
